How to Use Your Koyu Matcha Bamboo Whisk

Sift 1–2g of matcha powder into a matcha bowl (to avoid clumps).

Add 70–80ml of hot water (approx. 80°C — not boiling).

Whisk using a relaxed wrist motion, not the full arm.

Start slowly at the bottom of the bowl, breaking up any lumps by whisking in a figure-of-eight motion.
