1.5 grams Drink Botanicals Ireland’s Blue Matcha Powder
2 oz hot water (not boiling)
8 oz milk of your choice (dairy, almond, soy, oat)
Sweetener to taste (honey, agave syrup, or sugar)
Instructions:
Sift the Blue Matcha: Place 1.5 grams of Drink Botanicals Ireland’s Blue Matcha Powder into a bowl or cup to remove any lumps.
- Add Hot Water: Pour 2 oz of hot water (not boiling) into the bowl. The ideal temperature is around 175°F (80°C).
- Whisk: Using a bamboo whisk (chasen) or an electric frother, whisk the blue matcha and hot water together in a zigzag motion until the mixture is frothy and well combined.
- Heat the Milk: In a small saucepan, heat your milk until it’s steaming but not boiling. Alternatively, you can use a milk frother to heat and froth the milk simultaneously.
